Sri Lanka, Aug. 5 -- The Criminal Investigation Department's (CID) Human Trafficking, Smuggling and Maritime Crime Investigation Division is conducting further investigations to uncover links between a suspect arrested in Kilinochchi and the organised criminal gang operating in Ethiopia that abducted three Sri Lankans after luring them with promises of jobs in Canada.

The CID has arrested a suspect from Kilinochchi in connection with a human trafficking and job racket that led to the abduction of three Sri Lankans in Ethiopia.
