Sri Lanka, Feb. 9 -- The Commission to Investigate Allegations on Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has decided to probe the complaint against Speaker Jagath Wickramaratne lodged by former Deputy Secretary General of Parliament Chaminda Kularatane.

However, sources close to Kularatne said that he has not been informed about the decision.

"Maybe the former Deputy Secretary General will be informed as the process goes on. The CIABOC will have to go through the documents and then decide on calling the Speaker to record a statement. Even Kularane will be called for evidence only after studying the available documents," the source said.

Also, it has been reported that a complaint has been lodged with the CIABOC against Kularatne as well.
