Sri Lanka, Sept. 10 -- The owner of the bus involved in the accident at Ella, which claimed the lives of 15 people, has been arrested by the Ella Police.

Police said the arrest was made on charges of negligence in maintaining the bus in proper condition, which is believed to have contributed to the fatal crash.

Further investigations are underway.
