Sri Lanka, Aug. 20 -- The management of The Blue Water Hotel & Spa has denied any involvement in the deaths of four dogs found outside the hotel's boundary wall near the staff entrance.

In an official statement, the hotel said the location where the deceased animals were discovered is completely outside the property and that the dogs had never been on hotel premises or under the care of its management or staff.

According to the hotel, its employees were the first to discover the deceased dogs and immediately informed the Police and the Public Health Inspector (PHI). The management said it is providing full cooperation to the ongoing investigations.
