Srilanka, Oct. 19 -- The Sri Lanka men's team showcased their dominance on Day 1 of the Asia Rugby Emirates Sevens Series 2025, cruising into the cup semi-finals at the Colombo Race Course Ground.
The grand finale leg of the series kicked off yesterday, with teams competing for the title of Asia's champions and a spot on the World Rugby HSBC SVNS Division 3 pathway. The Sri Lankan Tuskers remained unbeaten, securing two wins before their final match was postponed due to adverse weather conditions.
However, it was a tough day for the Sri Lanka women's team, who lost all three matches against strong opponents from Hong Kong, China, Thailand, and Singapore.
