Sri Lanka, Sept. 14 -- Former MP Vajira Abeywardane has urged all political leaders in Sri Lanka to come together on one stage to safeguard the country's future and prevent the younger generation from being misled.
Speaking to the media, Abeywardane said that this platform should be free from hatred, anger, jealousy, and greed. He suggested that Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe could take the leadership in this effort.
Addressing a youth meeting, Abeywardane reminded participants of the country's independence and stressed that national leadership must prioritize unity for the sake of the nation's future.
