Sri Lanka, Feb. 20 -- Police have released AI-generated images of a suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a lawyer and his wife in Akuregoda earlier this month, seeking public assistance to track him down.

The Western Province Southern Crime Division, which is probing the February 13 double murder, said the images were developed using artificial intelligence technology based on available evidence and witness descriptions.

According to investigators, the suspect is believed to be a 44-year-old man, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a visible facial scar.
