Sri Lanka, Feb. 2 -- The Legal Officers' Association of the Attorney General's Department has expressed grave concern over the circulation of unfounded and baseless personal attacks directed at Attorney General Parinda Ranasinghe (Jnr), PC, and officers of the Attorney General's Department in the discharge of their official duties.

In a resolution passed at a Special General Meeting held on January 29, 2026, the Association took strong exception to what it described as vituperative, repeated and unfounded personal attacks on the Attorney General.
