Sri Lanka, Aug. 4 -- The Cabinet has approved a proposal to procure an additional 50 comfortable low-floor buses to expand modern public transport services in urban areas, following the successful procurement of 100 such buses under the Public Transport System Modernisation Programme.

The relevant supplier has already imported 100 low-floor buses into the country under the programme, which aims to improve passenger transport facilities and introduce more efficient urban mobility solutions.
