Sri Lanka, Sept. 23 -- The High Court Trial-at-Bar imposed sentences of 220 years of rigorous imprisonment on the first accused, 240 years each on the second, third, fourth and fifth accused, 200 years each on the sixth and seventh accused, 260 years on the eighth accused, 220 years each on the ninth and tenth accused, 200 years each on the eleventh and fifteenth accused, and 220, 220 and 200 years on the sixteenth, eighteenth and nineteenth accused, respectively.

The High Court Trial-at-Bar comprising Justices Navaratne Marasinghe, Ramanathan Kannan and Sujeewa Nishshanka delivered the verdict.

Furthermore, the properties of all 15 convicted accused were ordered to be confiscated.
