Sri Lanka, Aug. 11 -- A majestic elephant named "Sumana" has become one of the most eye-catching attractions for visitors to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.

Sumana was brought to the orphanage after being found alone in the Thirappanaya area of Maradankadawala in Anuradhapura. She is believed to have been separated from her herd and mother at a young age before being rescued by wildlife officials and handed over to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.

Believed to have been born in 1993, Sumana has now grown into a majestic elephant with a well-developed pair of tusks.
