Mumbai, Oct. 29 -- SRM Contractors has secured a domestic contract worth Rs. 1.38 bn from the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways (MORTH) for treating four landslide locations in Uttarakhand. The company announced the award on 26 October 2026 through a filing based on information from the awarding entity.
The project covers locations on the Pithoragarh-Tawaghat road and the NH-09, formerly identified as NH-125, in the Tintola-Ghatiabagarh section. The work is intended to address landslide-affected stretches and support the development and maintenance of road infrastructure in the state.
The contract will be executed under an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model. Under this arrangement, SRM Contractors will be responsible for the project's design, procurement activities and construction work as part of an integrated delivery scope.
The company is scheduled to complete the project within 18 months from the appointed date. The contract adds to SRM Contractors' domestic order book and expands its ongoing work in road infrastructure and specialised treatment of vulnerable stretches.
The award follows the company's recent receipt of other road-related orders, including an EPC contract for the Nashik Ring Road. However, the Uttarakhand project is specifically focused on stabilising four identified landslide locations along important road sections in the state.
