Mumbai, Oct. 28 -- Faridabad-based real estate developer RPS Infrastructure has awarded a construction contract worth more than Rs. 4.5 bn to KBE-Krishna Buildestates for Phase 3 of its flagship mixed-use development, RPS 12th Avenue.
Spread across approximately 9 acres, the phase will include the Crosswalk mall and The Wisterias South, a residential development comprising three ultra-luxury towers. Phase 3 forms part of the wider 34-acre RPS 12th Avenue ecosystem on Main Mathura Road in Sector 27C, Faridabad.
KBE will lead construction of the new phase, with the architectural blueprint already completed by global design firm Benoy. The appointment represents the first engagement of a premier construction contractor for a development of this scale and nature in Faridabad, according to RPS Infrastructure.
RPS Infrastructure Director Shashank Gupta said the company had selected KBE because quality was central to its flagship project. He added that the partnership was intended to support timely delivery, meet the developer's quality standards and deliver the planned components of Phase 3. KBE Joint Managing Director Bharat Bahl said the contractor would focus on timely delivery and quality construction while developing an integrated destination for the city.
Conceived as an integrated mixed-use hub on the Delhi-Faridabad border, RPS 12th Avenue is planned to bring together commercial office spaces, coworking zones, retail, dining and entertainment. The project is positioned as a business and lifestyle destination for the region, and Phase 3 has now moved into active execution. KBE has experience in large-scale residential, commercial, institutional and industrial developments for developers and institutions across India.
