Mumbai, July 20 -- Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES), a state-owned engineering consultancy, has been awarded the consultancy contract for the Patna Metro project, the company announced. The assignment covers advisory and project management services for the metro network in Patna, Bihar and will support planning and implementation phases. The contract award follows a competitive bidding process conducted by the project authority. The appointment is intended to advance urban transport infrastructure across the city.
Under the terms of the engagement RITES will provide technical inputs, detailed studies and oversight during execution, assisting the authority in design, procurement and construction monitoring.
