Mumbai, July 6 -- Mastek has partnered with Yanbu Cement Company (YCC), a leading Saudi cement manufacturer, to modernise the production-to-dispatch value chain through the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT), intelligent automation and integrated enterprise platforms. The partnership was announced as part of a programme to deliver a scalable digital foundation for production, sales and dispatch operations. The programme emphasised reducing manual interventions across operational workflows while improving governance and customer interaction.

Aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the Industry 4.0 agenda, the engagement seeks to introduce scalability, agility and real-time visibility across YCC operations. YCC operates one of the largest cement plants, with over 10 million tonnes (mn t) of cement dispatch and approximately 220,000 truck movements annually, and required an integrated platform to handle high-volume logistics and order fulfilment. The scale of operations underlined the need for converged IT and operational technology to maintain continuity and compliance.

Under its Connected Enterprise Services framework, Mastek reengineered mission critical workloads to converge information technology and operational systems for end-to-end automation and transparency. The deployment integrated Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP with IoT enabled weighbridges, automated gate systems, GPS driven transit tracking and a unified dashboard that provides real-time visibility from order creation through delivery completion. The architecture links plant floor data, logistics telemetry and enterprise transaction processing to support coordinated decision making and exception handling.

The solution aims to improve efficiency, governance and customer experience while enhancing operational agility and scalability. Automated gate systems and integrated weighbridge data reduce manual dependency in dispatch and enable faster throughput, while GPS transit tracking supports delivery monitoring and route management. The unified dashboard delivers consolidated operational metrics for stakeholders, and the platform design permits phased scaling and future functional extensions.
