Mumbai, Nov. 2 -- Indian Railways has introduced a special train between Mysuru in Karnataka and Darbhanga in Bihar for five trips, while extending services between Charlapalli in Telangana and Santragachi in West Bengal by four trips. The additional services will operate during October and November 2026 to provide more options for passengers travelling on long-distance routes.

Train 06211, the Mysuru-Darbhanga Special, will run every Tuesday for five trips from October 27 to November 24. It will depart from Mysuru Junction at 8:05 pm and reach Darbhanga Junction at 11:30 am on Thursday. The Mysuru-Darbhanga service will connect the two cities through Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Madan Mahal, Katni Junction, Maihar and Satna. These stops will provide access to important locations in Madhya Pradesh for passengers travelling between Karnataka and Bihar, while also supporting onward travel from intermediate stations.

South Central Railway has extended two services between Charlapalli and Santragachi. Train 07221, operating from Charlapalli to Santragachi, will run on Saturdays from November 7 to November 28, while train 07222, travelling in the opposite direction, will operate on Sundays from November 8 to November 29.
