Mumbai, Aug. 28 -- Avaada Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Haryana Enterprises Promotion Centre to develop a 300-acre zero-CBAM green industrial campus in Hisar, with a proposed investment of Rs 100 billion (Rs 100 bn). The company said the campus has the potential to generate over 5,000 employment opportunities and will be designed to support industries seeking to decarbonise operations. The development aims to strengthen energy security and align industrial facilities with evolving global sustainability requirements.
The campus will be powered by round-the-clock renewable energy and will provide common infrastructure, connectivity and utilities under an industrial-park framework facilitated by the state government. The arrangement envisages a customised package of incentives and expedited statutory approvals through Haryana's single-window mechanism to speed project delivery. Participating industries are expected to lower the carbon intensity of their operations and respond to growing demand for low-carbon products and supply chains.
Under the MoU, the state will help attract anchor investors, technology partners and industrial participants to the site while the company will pursue joint international investment roadshows across Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Japan and South Korea. The partnership sets out roles for shared facilities and common utilities designed to reduce compliance costs and enable scale efficiencies for occupiers. The developer indicated the campus would target firms facing European Union carbon border adjustment requirements.
Avaada Group operates across renewable power generation, solar PV manufacturing, green hydrogen and derivatives, battery storage, pumped hydro projects and green data centres, positioning it to offer integrated solutions for industrial decarbonisation. The initiative is presented as part of a broader strategy to support industrial customers in meeting low-carbon supply chain demands. The company and the state will now advance detailed planning and stakeholder engagement to implement the proposal.
