New Delhi, Sept. 8 -- UPES Runway, the startup incubator at UPES, has invested Rs.25 lakh through equity participation in Reagvis Labs, a startup working on AI-based tools for deepfake detection, document forgery detection, digital identity verification and digital content authentication.

The investment comes through The Pitch, UPES Runway's initiative to identify and back AI-focused startups. More importantly, it points to the growing space around technologies designed not to generate synthetic content, but to determine what can be trusted in an increasingly synthetic digital environment.
