New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- Uber has launched train ticket booking on its app in partnership with ixigo, an online travel agency (OTA) allowing users to book train tickets, check their Passenger Name Record (PNR) status, and arrange Uber rides to and from railway stations within the same platform.

The new service expands Uber's intercity travel offerings in India by combining ixigo's train ticketing technology with Uber's first- and last-mile mobility services. Users can search for trains, book tickets and access booking information without leaving the Uber app.
