Temple Gets Smaller As Deepinder Goyal Readies Wearable Launch
New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- The race in consumer wearables is moving beyond adding more features to smartwatches. Startups are increasingly experimenting with smaller devices and new ways of capturing health data, but the challenge remains the same: turning a technically interesting device into something consumers understand and use.
Temple, the wearable startup associated with Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal, is now moving closer to that test.
Goyal has revealed a significantly smaller version of Temple, saying the device is now less than half the size of its earlier design. He also said the company plans to begin taking pre-orders for a limited launch edition soon, with shipments expected before the end of 2026.
