New Delhi, July 2 -- Swiggy has appointed Gautam Swaroop as Chief Business Officer (CBO) for Instamart, handing him responsibility for commercial operations that include customer growth, category management, and brand partnerships. The appointment comes shortly after the exits of former CBO Hari Kumar and COO Ankit Jain, highlighting a broader leadership reset within the quick commerce business.

Swaroop joins Instamart after serving as CEO of OYO's international business, where he oversaw operations across the US, UK, Europe, China, and Latin America. Before OYO, he worked at McKinsey & Company and spent more than a decade at Dr Reddy's Laboratories.
