New Delhi, July 29 -- Enterprise AI software company Pegasystems has launched its first National Internship Program (NIP) in India, a five-week virtual initiative aimed at equipping engineering students with practical skills in generative AI, agentic engineering and workflow automation.

Announced at the company's PEGAInnovate event, the program is being delivered in partnership with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and SmartBridge Educational Services. The initiative comes as enterprises increasingly seek graduates with hands-on experience in AI technologies rather than traditional software development skills.
