New Delhi, May 12 -- OpenAI has launched a new enterprise-focused unit called the OpenAI Deployment Company, marking a significant expansion of the ChatGPT maker's push into large-scale corporate AI adoption. The new division will help businesses build and deploy AI systems across critical workflows and operations, the company said.

The initiative launches with more than $4 billion in initial investment and will be majority-owned and controlled by OpenAI. The company said it has partnered with 19 investment firms, consultancies, and systems integrators, including TPG, Advent, Bain Capital, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Company, and Capgemini.
