New Delhi, Nov. 24 -- OpenAI and Taiwan's Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn) will jointly design and manufacture next-generation AI data centre hardware in the United States, marking a strategic move to domesticise critical components of the AI supply chain and accelerate deployment of large-scale compute. The initial agreement gives OpenAI early evaluation access and a purchase option but contains no immediate purchase obligations.
