New Delhi, July 15 -- Mozilla has called on Microsoft to extend the browser choice measures it implemented in the European Economic Area (EEA) to users worldwide, following the release of a report examining the company's browser-related practices across multiple markets.

Commenting on the report, Kush Amlani, Global Competition and Regulatory Lead at Mozilla, said, "Microsoft has shown that it can respect user choice. When regulators are watching, they make some changes. We would ask them to do it globally, rather than relying on competition regulation to force their hand."
