New Delhi, July 7 -- Bengaluru-based robotics startup Mowito has raised $3 million (about Rs.28.6 crore) in a pre-seed funding round as it looks to expand its physical artificial intelligence (AI) platform into the US and accelerate deployments across automotive and electronics manufacturing.

The round was led by Version One Ventures, with participation from All In Capital, Unisol, and iSeed. Angel investors including Soumith Chintala, Chief Technology Officer, Thinking Machines Lab; Adarsh Kulkarni, Founder and CEO, Foundry Robotics; Ashish Kulkarni, Co-founder and CEO, Coformer.ai; and Vaibhav Domkundwar, Founder and CEO, Better Capital, also participated.
