New Delhi, July 22 -- IIT Madras-incubated start-up Plenome Technologies, which develops disruptive solutions for secure data management at scale, has raised seed funding of Rs.6.5 crore from Indian and foreign investors.

This marks a significant milestone in the firm's journey to access global markets. Plenome is building Blockchain-AI solutions to enable secure data transfers in sensitive sectors such as healthcare and voting.

Plenome's BlockTrack 'OraganEase' solution for managing organ donation databases is undergoing trial deployment in collaboration with the apex organ transplant body in a South Indian state.
