New Delhi, Aug. 3 -- IIRM Holdings India Ltd has announced a strategic capital raise of Rs.1,500 million, underscoring a broader trend of consolidation in India's insurance distribution market. The company said the funding will support business expansion, strategic acquisitions, capital expenditure and working capital requirements.

The capital raise, comprising equity shares and fully convertible warrants priced at Rs.143.28 per security, is being led by Carpediem Capital and Sanshi Fund-I, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
