Drone Summit 2026: Can Drones Become Rural India's Next Job Engine?
New Delhi, July 7 -- Drone technology may be moving from policy conversation to grassroots deployment, with agriculture, rural services and youth employment emerging as the next big use cases.
Speaking at the National Drone Summit 2026 in New Delhi, Tarun Chugh, National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, said drones are no longer just a modern technology tool. He described them as an enabler for scientific farming, stronger rural economies and new opportunities for young people.
