New Delhi, Aug. 4 -- Global HR and payroll platform Deel has acquired AI cybersecurity startup Clarity to expand its identity verification and workforce security capabilities amid growing concerns around AI-driven fraud and deepfakes in the workplace.

The acquisition, announced on Tuesday, brings Clarity's AI technology for identity verification, deepfake detection, and fraud prevention into Deel's platform. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Alongside the acquisition, Deel said it has surpassed $1.5 billion in annual recurring revenue (ARR) during the first half of 2026, a milestone the company says will support continued investments in artificial intelligence and strategic acquisitions.
