New Delhi, Sept. 29 -- Coforge has appointed Akhil Gupta as Chairperson of the company and Non-Executive Independent Director, effective September 29, 2026. His appointment will be for a period of five years.

Gupta is the former Vice Chairman of Bharti Enterprises and has more than 40 years of professional experience. He was closely involved in Bharti's growth and its evolution across multiple business shifts.

His appointment comes as Coforge positions AI more deeply within its engineering services business and looks to help enterprises move beyond AI experimentation towards deployment and business outcomes.
