BluJ Aerospace Targets Future Hydrogen-Powered Air Mobility With New eVTOL Prototype
New Delhi, May 26 -- BluJ Aerospace, a Hyderabad-based aerospace startup developing electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, has unveiled Gen #2, the first commercial-grade aircraft built on its VANTIS platform architecture after four years of research and development.
The company said the prototype is now undergoing active flight testing and marks a major step in its efforts to build scalable heavy-payload aerial logistics systems in India. Gen #2 follows the startup's earlier Gen #1 demonstrator, which the company said was India's first publicly demonstrated 500 kg-class eVTOL aircraft.
