New Delhi, April 4 -- Biocon Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of Biocon, in partnership with the Bengaluru Science and Technology Cluster (BeST Cluster) and the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), has onboarded the first cohort of its BioWISE (Women in STEM Empowered) program, aimed at supporting women transitioning from academia to scientific careers.
The inaugural cohort includes 15 postgraduate women students selected from over 350 applicants across Karnataka. The participants will undergo a six-month internship program that combines scholarships, mentorship, and hands-on research exposure.
