Amaravati Positions Itself As A Quantum Computing Hub, Seeks Quantinuum Partnership
New Delhi, July 27 -- The Andhra Pradesh government is advancing its quantum computing ambitions by positioning Amaravati as a hub for quantum research and innovation. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday said the state is building the Amaravati Quantum Valley and expects the Amaravati Quantum Computing Centre to become operational by December 2026.
The announcement came during a meeting between Naidu and a delegation from Quantinuum, a global full-stack quantum computing company led by CEO Rajeeb Hazra. The discussions centered on a potential partnership to develop a quantum ecosystem aligned with India's National Quantum Mission.
