New Delhi, Sept. 24 -- ACI Worldwide is extending its ACI Connetic payments hub to support transactions orchestrated through Swift's blockchain-based ledger, allowing banks to manage tokenized deposit payments alongside traditional payment types through the same operational framework.

The capability is designed to help banks avoid creating separate processes, teams and infrastructure for digital-asset payments as tokenized deposits move from pilot programs toward production use. ACI said the integration will allow institutions to use existing payment controls, workflows and infrastructure to route, monitor, manage and reconcile these transactions.
