Mumbai, Oct. 3 -- COMEX copper stayed weak near a two-week low of $6.51 per pound as the US dollar index was firm above 101 mark. COMEX Copper turned flat in September, coming off a record high and about to end Sep-26 on a flat note. It had gained around 3.40% in previous month. Meanwhile, the Global Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) survey, sponsored by J.P. Morgan and compiled by S&P Global Market Intelligence, indicated a further improvement in the health of the factory sector in September. At 53.0, the headline PMI was the highest since February 2022.
