Mumbai, Sept. 26 -- The US 10-year Treasury yield moved up after upbeat economic cues. The benchmark yield gained around 2 basis points yesterday to approach 4.17% mark, hitting three-week high. In a key update for the US labor market, the initial weekly jobless claims dropped to 218,000 from 232,000, coming off a four-year high. Meanwhile, the overall economic growth appears to be in a good shape too. The US third-quarter US GDP was revised higher to 3.8% on an annualized basis, indicating the tariff worries have not yet materialised into a visible impact on economic front.
