Mumbai, Oct. 7 -- The benchmark 10-year US Treasury yield softened to 5.28% after touching 5.35% earlier this week, coming off its highest level since 2002. Oil prices tested one-week low yesterday but edged higher today, capping downside for yields. Bond market investors are likely to focus the minutes of the Federal Reserve's latest meeting today. This meeting saw the central bank raise interest rates for the first time in three years.
