Mumbai, Oct. 29 -- The US bond yields edged higher from five-week low after the United States Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) announced on Wednesday its decision to keep the target range for the federal funds rate at 3.75% to 4.00%. The 10-year Treasury note yield - the main benchmark for mortgages, auto loans and credit card debt - hit 5.04% mark amid elevated crude oil prices. However, yields eased under 5% mark today as markets eyed key economic data in form of US Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) inflation today. Crude oil prices have also seen a sizable correction, pulling yields lower from a one-week high.
