Mumbai, Oct. 30 -- The US bond yields fell to five-week low as global undertone in yields was lax following interest-rate holds by major central banks this week. After US Fed, the ECB paused a hiking cycle and kept the deposit rate unchanged yesterday. Major central banks have noted that inflation remains a concern and further rate increases remain possible. Crude oil prices also stay elevated near five-month high and could cap downside for yields. US 10-year bond yield currently lingers around 4.93%.
