US 10-year yield holds near one-month low
Mumbai, Oct. 21 -- The US treasury yields eased on Tuesday as weak housing data cooled expectations of near-term Federal Reserve rate hikes. The benchmark 10-year Treasury yield slipped near 5.10% mark, down about 2 basis points from Monday's close. However, yields are stabilizing today in Asia as crude oil prices have firmed up. Recent declines have pulled 10-year yield near one-month low and now attention will likely shift on coming economic cues to get more clarity about the US monetary policy action.
