Mumbai, July 8 -- The US 10-year Treasury yield edged up Monday as investors tracked trade tensions amid an extension of the 90-day tariff reprieve deadline and as US President Donald Trump threatened more tariffs. The benchmark 10-year yield was up 5 basis points to 4.39% and currency holds around the same mark - lingering near two-week high. The 30-year bond yield has also zoomed up above 4.90%. Nothing much was there on the US economic front yesterday but the bond market still witnessed good movement, underscoring the significance of trade and tariff narrative for markets right now.
