Mumbai, Oct. 30 -- The US stocks fell on Thursday after big technology stocks, led by Alphabet dragged the markets lower. The benchmark S&P 500 eased 0.3%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite melted 1.4%, and the blue-chip Dow shed 0.3%. Alphabet lost12.5% after the technology giant reported disappointing Q3 earnings. Inflationary worries resurfaced as Fed's preferred inflation barometer, known as the PCE index, jumped 0.5% in September to mark the biggest increase in six months.
