Mumbai, Oct. 5 -- The significant improvement in wholesale volumes reflected a recovery from the cyber incident reported last year. Volumes improved across the UK and overseas markets, while trading conditions remained challenging in China.

Volumes in the US remained steady and accounted for around one-third of JLR's total wholesales.

The combined wholesale mix of Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Defender stood at 77.6% in Q2 FY27, compared with 76.7% in Q2 FY26.

However, JLR's total retail volumes declined 7.46% YoY to 79,000 units in Q2 FY27. Retail volumes in China fell 40.59% to 6,300 units, mainly due to the cessation in June 2026 of locally produced vehicles by the CJLR joint venture.
