States raise Rs 16,900 crore through SGS auction; Maharashtra raises Rs 5,600 crore
Mumbai, Sept. 8 -- Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat were among the states that raised funds through a State Government Securities (SGS) auction held on 8 September 2026, with states and the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir collectively raising Rs 16,900 crore.
Andhra Pradesh raised Rs 3,800 crore through three re-issues. The state raised Rs 1,000 crore through the re-issue of 7.46% Andhra Pradesh SGS 2035 at a cut-off yield of 7.6198%. It raised another Rs 1,200 crore through the re-issue of 7.65% Andhra Pradesh SGS 2043 at 7.7551% and Rs 1,600 crore through the re-issue of 7.64% Andhra Pradesh SGS 2056 at 7.7576%.
Goa raised Rs 100 crore through a fresh 10-year State Government Security at a cut-off yield of 7.63%.
