Mumbai, July 10 -- State borrowings during Q1-FY26 stood at Rs 2.01 lakh crore, around 38% higher than the total issuances during Q1-FY25. The Q1 borrowings were 36% less than the indicative calendar released at the beginning of the quarter though. Data showed that overall yields trended lower and states opted to reissue around 13% of their borrowings during the quarter.
