Mumbai, Dec. 18 -- Silver futures cracked lower today, falling from record highs as the US dollar edged up from a two-month low. COMEX Silver futures are trading at $66.20 per ounce, down 1% on the day. The metal soared around 5.6% in last session, adding to its awesome run of gains recently but gave back some ground today ahead of the US inflation data. Silver is still up around 16% this month. MCX Silver is trading at Rs 206032 per kg, down 0.68% on the day. Local traders also eyed a modest upturn in Indian Rupee which is quoting at 90.33, up 4 paise on the day. INR had tested record lows above 91 per US dollar in last session.
