Mumbai, Oct. 21 -- COMEX gold stays staggered under $4200 mark on Wednesday as oil prices bounce back, renewing inflation concerns. Elevated oil prices raise concerns about persistent US inflation and the prospect that the Federal Reserve (Fed) could keep interest rates higher for longer. Moreover, ongoing tensions in the Middle East and possible disruptions to energy shipments through the Persian Gulf could drive oil-driven inflation concerns, weighing on the yellow metal. Currently, the counter is quoting at $4135.20 an ounce, down 0.18% on the day while silver is down over half a percent at $57.55 an ounce.
