Mumbai, Sept. 18 -- COMEX gold and silver are attempting recovery amid falling oil prices and pull back in dollar index after a sharp spike in the previous session after Fed announced a rate hike for the first time in three years. US bond yields also retreat further from multi-year highs as the recent pullback in crude oil prices helped alleviate immediate fears of runaway inflation. DXY is trading under 100 mark, supporting the precious metals. The yellow metal is currently seen quoting at $4396.30 an ounce and silver is up 0.7% at $66.61 an ounce.
