Mumbai, May 7 -- Natural Gas futures slipped as a heavy tumble in WTI oil prices yesterday weighed on the sentiments. Generally lax weather-driven demand also capped the prices as the counter drifted towards a one-week low today. US Natural Gas futures are trading at $2.66 per mmbtu, down 0.51% on the day. Natural Gas rose more than 3% last week but is back to losing ways. Markets will now eye the US weekly Natural Gas inventories data due to come out later today. On the MCX, Natural Gas futures are trading at Rs 258.30 per mmbtu, down 0.04% on the day after rising near Rs 259.50 per mmbtu in morning trades. The counter lost around 3.20% in last session with a sharp 25% surge in the open interest.
